About This Site
RestoreBritain.vote is an independent, unofficial guide to Restore Britain. This page explains who runs it, how it is written and checked, and how to tell us when we get something wrong.
Who runs this site
Restore Britain Vote is written and run by independent supporters of Restore Britain. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or run by the party, and it does not speak for the party or for Rupert Lowe.
Its aim is to explain what the party stands for, who leads it and the official statistics behind the debate, with every figure sourced and dated. For official statements, membership and donations, go to restorebritain.org.uk (opens in a new tab).

Editorial policy
How we write and source the site
Six rules every page follows. We write about the party in the third person and describe what it proposes, without embellishing it.
The party in its own terms
Policy pages summarise the party's official Objectives (opens in a new tab) and policy papers (opens in a new tab) in its own terms, attribute each position to the party and link the source.
Official statistics first
Figures on migration, asylum and prisons come first from official releases by the ONS (including the Census), the Home Office and the Ministry of Justice, each linked to the release it came from.
Recognised pollsters only
We show opinion polls only from members of the British Polling Council.
Claims are labelled
Polls commissioned by the party, and figures that come only from the party, such as membership milestones, are marked as such wherever they appear.
Every figure is dated
Every number carries its source and the date it applies to, so you can see how current it is.
Nationality, not ethnicity
Where official data breaks figures down by group, we use nationality as published. We do not publish breakdowns of crime by ethnicity.
Corrections

Accuracy matters more to us than speed. If something on this site is wrong or out of date, we want to fix it.
Use the contact form and choose Correction / factual error.
Tell us the page, what it says and what it should say, with a link to a source if you can.
We check every report. Confirmed errors are fixed promptly, and the page's “Last updated” date changes to show it.

Updates
How pages are kept current
Each page shows when it was last updated, and every figure shows the date it applies to.
- Party facts
- Members, MPs, councillors and polling are reviewed regularly and shown with their dates. Last reviewed .
- Official statistics
- Refreshed when new figures are published. The next ONS migration and Home Office immigration releases are due on .
- Policies
- Checked against the party's Objectives and papers when it publishes new ones.
- Timeline and news
- Updated as events happen, each entry with its source.
- Automatic lists
- Press headlines and the party's latest papers on the News page, posts on X, and Rupert Lowe's debates and written questions refresh themselves through the day from Google News, the party's website, X and the Parliament website. They are shown as published, are not checked before they appear, and always link to the original; figures and claims in them are their authors' own. We remove an item if it breaks these standards.
